Overview
Uxtorch positions itself as “The UX Design Agency” for early-stage startups — connecting the dots between users’ needs and the client’s business vision. The website needed to demonstrate design craft simply by existing: it is the agency’s strongest portfolio piece.
The Challenge
Startup founders evaluate design agencies emotionally and quickly. The site had to feel confident and editorial — more design studio than corporate vendor — while still communicating a rigorous strategic framework and verifiable credibility (Toptal, Clutch, 180+ successful projects).
Design Approach
- Statement hero: oversized typography carries the positioning, supported by a “View Showreel” motion cue and proof badges from Toptal and Clutch.
- Five-pillar strategy grid: Business, Brand, Experience, Activation, and Enablement — each pillar distilled to one sharp sentence, turning agency methodology into a scannable visual system.
- Emotive copy pairing: lines like “Craft experiences that touch hearts and move markets” set an aspirational tone against structured, grid-based layouts.
- Case-study spotlight: featured work (e.g., the Gameface platform) presented with generous imagery and a “View all Cases” pathway, letting the portfolio close the sale.
Outcome
A website that reads like a design manifesto and functions like a sales funnel — strategy pillars build credibility, cases provide evidence, and the editorial art direction signals exactly the caliber of work clients can expect.
